Entirely without dialogue, Cutouts is a short and super sweet film about a son and his late father's little puppet dog who are faced with a decision to either sell their property or face their grief head-on, together. In this project, we went all out into the "crafter" elements of the art form, and incorporated a handmade puppet, paper animations, and a paper-cardboard puppet in order to bake to perfection a warm, fuzzy, homemade feeling film, like Grandma's cookies straight out of the oven.
