Hayden Cota is a director and editor based in Portland, Oregon. 

At this very moment, it’s almost guaranteed he’s already in the thick of his next narrative, experimental, or commercial piece, either orchestrating all that goes into the frame behind the camera or cutting together a harmonious story chock full of big ideas in Premiere Pro. 

With a background as an editor, Hayden is always known to put in the extra work to ensure that leading up to/during production, there’s never a “fix it in post” moment, and while wearing his director’s cap in the editing room, he weaves shots into a film that don’t just “work” but are meaningful.

Hayden is applying to transfer to out-of-state film schools to fully mature his production education, so before he bows out, he is always on the hunt for local, Pacific Northwestern stories that deserve to be appreciated in the universal language of film.
